How Flusso uses your information
We are Flusso Pty Ltd (ABN [ABN]), operator of Flusso R&D Tax Platform. We collect the information you provide — including your name, contact details, organisation details, and the R&D activity, expenditure, and supporting records you enter or upload — to prepare, review, lodge, and substantiate your Research & Development Tax Incentive (RDTI) claim, to run and secure your account, and to support you.
- Some fields are needed to deliver the service. If you don't provide them, we may not be able to prepare or lodge your claim.
- We share your information where needed to deliver the service or comply with the law — with your authorised advisers (on your instruction), with AusIndustry and the Australian Taxation Office when lodging and substantiating a claim, and with the service providers that run our platform.
- Some of our providers are overseas, principally in the United States; your primary database records are held in Australia.

This notice explains how Flusso Pty Ltd (ABN [ABN]) ("Flusso", "we", "us"), operator of Flusso R&D Tax Platform, collects and handles your personal information. It covers the matters we are required to tell you under Australian Privacy Principle 5. For full detail, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Who is collecting your information. Flusso Pty Ltd. Contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@flusso.ai.
2. What we collect and how. We collect personal information directly from you (when you create an account, enter or upload claim information, or contact us), from your organisation or authorised advisers where they share it with an account you are connected to, and automatically through your use of the platform (such as log, device, and usage data). This may include your name, business role, contact details, organisation details (including ABN/ACN), R&D activity and expenditure records and supporting evidence, and account and usage data.
3. Why we collect it (purposes). To prepare, review, lodge, and substantiate your RDTI claim; to authenticate users and secure accounts; to provide support and service communications; to improve the reliability, security, and features of our services; and to meet our legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations.
4. If it is required or authorised by law. Providing your information is not required by law, but some information is reasonably necessary for us to provide the service. Certain disclosures we make (for example, to the ATO as part of lodging a claim) are authorised or required under taxation law.
5. What happens if you don't provide it. You are not required to provide all information, and where lawful and practicable you may deal with us anonymously or using a pseudonym (for example, for a general enquiry). However, because our services involve preparing and lodging tax claims tied to identified companies and individuals, we generally cannot prepare or lodge your claim, or give you access to core platform features, without the necessary information.
6. Who we usually disclose it to.
- Your authorised advisers (tax agents, accountants, R&D consultants) — on your instruction and authority.
- Government bodies as part of lodging and substantiating a claim — AusIndustry (a division of the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, acting for Industry Innovation and Science Australia) and the Australian Taxation Office.
- Service providers that run our platform (cloud hosting, authentication, analytics, communications, and AI providers), bound by confidentiality obligations.
We do not sell your personal information or disclose it for third-party marketing.
7. Overseas disclosure. Your primary database records are held in Australia (Sydney). Some of our service providers, and some processing of your information, occur overseas — principally in the United States. A current list of our sub-processors and the countries in which they operate is at our sub-processors page.
8. Access, correction, and complaints. Our Privacy Policy explains how you can access or correct your personal information, and how you can complain about how we handle it (and escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are not satisfied with our response).
